Our Vision

Our school is a welcoming and inclusive school that is committed to working together to provide a high quality education based upon Christian aims and values for all.

We will create exciting opportunities for education within a happy, safe, stimulating and inspiring learning environment. We will nurture in every pupil a sense of personal responsibility and pride in their school. Our pupils will develop socially, emotionally and academically in preparation for their future and they will be provided with the skills necessary to embrace the changing technology of the world. Christian values such as compassion, reverence, justice and hope will underpin all our work as a school in our aim to develop children as global citizens, with a strong sense of responsibility for the underprivileged in our community and throughout the world.

The school community will respect one another as individuals and every child will be celebrated and valued, helping to develop self-esteem, confidence and independence. Their effort and achievement will be positively awarded, maximising individual success.

Our learning opportunities will encompass a variety of styles through a creative, physical and academic curriculum. Salehurst will continue to act as a beacon of learning, making a positive difference in our community encouraging the awareness of worldwide cultures and differences, and celebrating them.

Within the school culture, the children will foster a sense of responsibility to lead healthy lifestyles and be aware of the importance of sustainability in the environment around us.

We will endeavour to embrace change and the challenges ahead, and continue to strive for excellence now, and in the future.
