Welcome to the Salehurst School Association
The Salehurst School Association (SSA) is a group of parents dedicated to organising and running events to generate funding to support a wide range of school activities and equipment. Every penny earned is given back to the pupils through requests from teaching and school staff at our monthly meetings.
Our fundraising activities include events for both children and adults – last year's calendar included school discos, a Christmas fayre, a quiz, a barn dance, a music festival and of course the annual school fete in the summer.
Purchases included IT equipment, school equipment, books, support for the use of a minibus and subsidising school trips. The SSA also works towards larger projects, eg the purchase of a set of school handheld computer tablets for the children to use in classes.
